Lishan was famous for growing high-cold vegetables and fruits in the early days, began planting a small number of tea trees in 1970, after 1980 the tea market flourished, tea quality is good, pear tea is very popular, the tea area is located in Taichun City Peace Zone, with Nanding County and Hualien County, located at the northernmost end of Nantsing County, the elevation of about 1700 to 2400 meters, Lishan is the highest average height of the tea area.

The production area has well-known Cuifeng, Cuiyu, Fushoushan, Xinjiayang and other places, are Lishan tea system, tea in each production area has its own characteristics, with excellent soil environment, water quality, breeding a good tea, is one of the representatives of Taiwan’s high-quality alpine tea.
